The Steps
1/ Define the terms and conditions of your stay: duration, food support, help with administrative procedures, help with daily travel…
2/ Register on the governmental website of your country
3/ Publish your ad on social networking sites. (see our directory)
It is important to take the time to make a detailed announcement:
– description of the accommodation
– the conditions of reception (duration, free meals, wifi…),
– the environment (shops, schools, public transport, employment…)
Put pictures of the place you are offering, and of yourself!
4/ Contact the social services (in France the CCAS), the mayor, the local associations… in order not to be alone and to inform you.
5/ When you are contacted by a family, propose a WhatsApp video call.
